The part-time MBA was a memorable experience, and I met many outstanding professionals at Wits. I would particularly like to mention Mike Pycraft, who lectured one of my favourite subjects (Operations) and who was a mentor and sounding board in the early days of me starting my business. Mike is sadly no longer with us, but will always be remembered.

What truly set me on my path of enlightenment began at registration. I saw a self-identification box to check “Coloured” when I completed my registration form for my I.D. and I was dumbfounded. I recall the second day of my MBA when my first child was born and then while in China completing my final elective, I received the news of the birth of my second child and had to fly back immediately…. An amazing two years of learning and personal growth.
