I graduated with my MBA from WBS in 2007. The MBA changed my life, but in small ways, bit by bit, by ensuring that my practice always had structure. As a social worker, running a non-profit organisation, it ensured that I applied business acumen and thinking to my desire to address social problems.
I am currently studying for my PhD at another university, but it was WBS that started me on my academic career path.

My abiding memories of Wits Business School were late nights, early mornings, the tough task of managing syndicates as well as the balancing of family, friends, work and life in general. I came out the other side a bit wiser, a bit tougher and an enduring appreciation of the difference that make us so unique….
Wits Business School is an amazing place, you will be challenged beyond your wildest imagination. However, you will come out WBS a transformed and better person & seasoned professional. I had super awesome time at WBS. I have wonderful memories of WBS. Many of my memories involve my syndicate group (Amazing ladies) and new friends…
Some of the best years of my life. We worked hard, had a lot of fun, and made lifelong friendships.
I remember, spending late nights with syndicate members doing assignments, networking and sharing Ideas on various modules such as finance and strategy…. Rehearsing marketing and human resources syndicate presentation…..
The most challenging but rewarding 3 years of my life. The first time I studied whilst I had a full time job. I enjoyed the syndicate projects the most as well as the opportunity to study subjects like Finance and Economics for the first time.
