The first time I studied whilst I had a full time job. I enjoyed the syndicate projects the most as well as the opportunity to study subjects like Finance and Economics for the first time.
The MBA was truly a defining moment in my career!

I met many outstanding professionals at Wits. The part-time MBA was a memorable experience, and I met many outstanding professionals at Wits. I would particularly like to mention Mike Pycraft, who lectured one of my favourite subjects (Operations) and who was a mentor and sounding board in the early days of me starting my business….
One of my best moments was doing a syndicate assignment video presentation for the Organisational Design and Development module, under the topic “Design of an Agile Organisation”, which became a journey of discovery and enlightenment for the team, as well as lots of fun whilst contributing to immense learning.
I think back very fondly to those couple of years. And it is very gratifying to see that the school has developed so impressively in the years since then.
I have fond memories of the Australian professor Gary Stockport who taught us Strategic Management. Anyone who was in that class would remember how he would take us through concepts developed by other authors or leading scholars and at the end would introduce his model/concept and say ‘”Gary Stockport says…..”’, at which point we would mostly…

Getting my Masters in Management- Finance & Investment Cum Laude in 2014 and accomplishing my Doctorate title in 2018 has been an amazing journey of academic excellence with Wits Business School. I am thankful to all my Lecturers, most importantly, my Masters and PhD Supervisor Professor Paul Alagidede. Prof, you are a Champion and in a league of your own!
